Investment & Mutual Fund Calculators
Project your wealth — SIP, lumpsum, step-up, withdrawals and return metrics for Indian investors.
Updated June 2026 · Free · No sign-up
Whether you invest a fixed amount every month (SIP) or a one-time sum (lumpsum), these calculators project how your mutual fund or equity investment can grow over time using the same compounding maths the fund houses use. Start with the SIP calculator for monthly investing or the lumpsum calculator for a one-time investment.
The cluster also covers the return metrics professionals rely on — CAGR for a clean annualised growth rate, and XIRR/IRR for irregular cash flows like staggered SIPs or partial redemptions — plus SWP for planning a regular withdrawal in retirement. All use the begin-of-month (annuity-due) SIP convention standard in India.
All Investment & Mutual Fund Calculators
SIP Calculator
Calculate the future value of your Systematic Investment Plan with monthly contributions, expected return rate, and tenure. Includes step-up SIP and lumpsum comparison.
Step-Up SIP Calculator
Calculate the future value of a SIP that increases annually by a fixed percentage (e.g. 10% per year). Models the salary-hike-linked top-up that lets you grow your investment alongside your income — usually 2-3× the corpus of a flat SIP.
Lumpsum Calculator
Calculate the future value of a one-time lumpsum investment in a mutual fund or any compound-growth asset. Compare with equivalent SIP returns over the same investment horizon.
Mutual Fund Returns Calculator
Calculate the future value of a mutual fund investment combining one-time lumpsum + monthly SIP. Shows total returns, effective XIRR, and a year-by-year growth chart.
SWP Calculator
Calculate Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) outcomes — how long a mutual fund corpus will last while withdrawing a fixed monthly amount, with the remaining balance still earning returns. Pairs with retirement income planning.
CAGR Calculator
Calculate the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) for any investment — given initial value, final value, and time period. Shows annualized return, total absolute return, and a year-by-year growth curve.
XIRR Calculator
Calculate the Extended Internal Rate of Return (XIRR) for any series of irregular cashflows — SIP installments, lumpsum top-ups, partial withdrawals, and final redemption. Shows the true annualized return for non-uniform investment patterns.
IRR Calculator
Calculate the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for a series of cash flows.
Investment Calculator
Calculate investment growth, returns, and final value with regular contributions.
ULIP Returns Calculator
Calculate net returns on Unit Linked Insurance Plan (ULIP) after deducting Premium Allocation Charges, Mortality Charges, Fund Management Charges (FMC), and Policy Administration Charges. Compares ULIP IRR vs equivalent SIP in a mutual fund.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between SIP and lumpsum?
A SIP invests a fixed amount every month, averaging your purchase price over time (rupee-cost averaging). A lumpsum invests a one-time sum that compounds for the full tenure. SIPs suit salaried investors; lumpsums suit windfalls. Use the respective calculators to compare.
What is a realistic SIP return in India?
Diversified equity mutual funds have historically returned about 11-13% CAGR over long horizons, balanced funds 9-10%, and debt funds around 7%. Past performance isn't a guarantee — pick a rate you're comfortable planning around and review periodically.
What is CAGR and how is it different from XIRR?
CAGR is the smoothed annual growth rate between a single start and end value. XIRR handles multiple cash flows on different dates (staggered SIPs, partial withdrawals) by accounting for the timing of each. Use CAGR for lumpsums, XIRR for SIPs.
What is a step-up SIP?
A step-up (or top-up) SIP increases your monthly contribution by a fixed percentage every year, usually in line with salary growth. Because the extra amount compounds for longer, even a small annual step-up can grow the final corpus substantially versus a flat SIP.
