Retirement & Pension Calculators
Plan the corpus and monthly pension you'll retire on — every Indian retirement tool in one place.

Retirement planning is a two-part problem: building a large enough corpus while you work, and converting it into a dependable monthly income after you stop. These calculators cover both — the accumulation tools (retirement corpus, NPS, EPF, APY, FIRE) project how much you'll have, and the decumulation tools (annuity, SWP, SCSS) show how much regular income that corpus can safely produce.
Start with the retirement calculator to find your target corpus, then use NPS and EPF to project your main retirement accounts. As you near retirement, the annuity and SWP tools help you turn savings into a pension, while SCSS and gratuity cover senior-citizen income and your end-of-service benefit.

Frequently asked questions
How much do I need to retire in India?
A common benchmark is 25-30× your expected annual expenses at retirement (the basis of the 4% rule), adjusted for inflation. The retirement calculator works backwards from your target monthly spending and time horizon to the corpus and monthly SIP you need today.
What is the difference between EPF and NPS for retirement?
EPF is a mandatory, employer-linked provident fund earning a guaranteed ~8.25% with a pension (EPS) component. NPS is a voluntary, market-linked pension where you pick the equity/debt mix — returns vary but are typically higher long-term, and at least 40% of the corpus must buy an annuity at 60.
How is gratuity calculated?
For employees covered by the Payment of Gratuity Act, gratuity = (15 × last drawn monthly salary × years of service) ÷ 26, where salary is basic + DA. It's payable after 5 years of continuous service and is tax-free up to ₹20 lakh.
What is the 4% rule (FIRE)?
The 4% rule says you can withdraw 4% of your retirement corpus in year one, then adjust for inflation each year, with a high chance the money lasts 30+ years. It implies a target corpus of about 25× your annual expenses — the core idea behind the FIRE calculator.
